CANCER GENETICS SERVICES FOR PERSONALIZED CANCER TREATMENTS

What is Precision Oncology?

Precision oncology is an approach that applies precision medicine principles, which have become increasingly important in recent decades, to cancer treatment.

Instead of traditional cancer treatment approaches that are organ-based, impersonal and use standard protocols, it aims to personalize treatment decisions by evaluating the genetic, molecular and clinical characteristics of individual patients.

In this way, it is possible to increase the quality of life of patients and reduce treatment costs by preventing the application of ineffective treatments.

When determining the most appropriate treatment options for the individual, genomic profiling is used to detect genetic changes specific to the patient’s tumor.

Tumor organoids, which mimic the patient’s tumor as closely as possible to the real environment, provide precise guidance by measuring the effects of specified treatments.

COMPREHENSIVE GENOMIC PROFILING

CanCell Check™

CanCell Check™ is a comprehensive genomic profiling service that aims to detect cancer-causing gene mutations and determine the most appropriate drug options for the patient.

CanCell Check™, developed by academics included in the 2021 World’s Most Influential Scientists List, examines genes associated with cancer in detail using the Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) method.

It uses artificial intelligence-supported software developed by bioinformatics experts to interpret the results.

Thus, it can report treatments that benefit patients by selecting them from completed clinical studies or ongoing clinical trials.

CREATING TUMOR ORGANOIDS

CanCell Validate™

CanCell Validate™ creates tumor organoids using cancerous and healthy cells obtained from the patient’s tumor and immune cells obtained from the blood sample.

the patient-specific tumor organoid it creates to determine the effectiveness of drug options and drugs to which the patient may be resistant. Thus, it reports the most appropriate treatment option to the patient within 21-30 days.

CanCell Validate™, which uses fresh tissue taken from the patient through surgery or biopsy, requires the tissue to be delivered to CanCell laboratories under appropriate conditions within 24 hours following the operation.

It can test the effectiveness of drug options determined with CanCell Check™, as well as test the requested drugs and report the results.
